bodybuilder Eric Keen a bit about me
my name is Eric Keen i was born with CP 3 lbs walked on a walker then cruches wheelchair for any long distances
well lets start off with how i got into the things i'm doing. my brothers are police officers and need to stay in atleast somewhat good shape and i was asked to come try a bit of lifting (7 years ago) my life was for the most part watching tv and tearing up the playstation i never really left the house and when i did it was so hard on my body i would get sick
so i did the lift just easy stuff like benchpress and curls (60lbs bench) the next day i was sore but kinda like the feeling and i notice i could move myself on my arms a bit better so i slowly went back and my upper body became stonger and more cut and i went from being 22 years old and 96 lbs to 140-160 lbs probably 50 pounds of muscle packed on and was no longer a person stuck at home i can for the most part pull off anything a able body person can just useing stong arms in the place of legs so small home workouts turned to going to the gym and that turned into hanging in there with the biggest and stongest most gyms had to offer so i got into bodybuilding and one win turned into another so began studing and became a A.F.A.A. Personal trainer now i am one of the top wheelchair bodybuilders in the country chasing my pro card and am trying very hard to get a foundation off the ground to help other people alot like me make themselfs better with diet and exercise in a way that very few people can
my next pro card show is in ohio next week (september24th 2011) i have to beat a very good person and hope for the right number of chairs to win a WNBF ProCard
my 12 week cut is now into week 11 i am fully cut and contest ready just doing tweaks to my body and test peaking for show day......this year has been a hard one because i was brought into the INBF late so i had to makeup alot of ground to even have a chance on stage and a have a good little list of injurys i have to work around so from this point i will be keep a traing blog of my training,cutting and balking as much as i can during the season and off season
